First "play date"

Well it wasn't really a "play date" for Jax.  It was more of an "eat, sleep, let mommy talk to other people date"  but it was fun!  Here is a picture of all the kids except one that was asleep..... :0)

Our kid is long and lean!

Jax had his 2 month checkup today......Here are the stats:

-75th percentile for length (23.5 in)

-25th percentile for weight (10 lbs 11.5 oz)

The dr. said we were doing a great job so that was good to hear from a professional! :0)  Jax also got 4 shots today.  Very sad!  He screamed and then soon after fell asleep.  Poor guy!  Here he is after a long day....what a trooper, still smiling!! (Notice the bandaids...).

Jax has also been sleeping longer at night.  We actually got quite a bit of sleep the last couple nights because he went almost 7.5 hours from feeding to feeding!  What a champ! 

AND.....lastly, David and I had our 4 year anniversary yesterday.  We celebrated with dinner at a yummy restaurant that had hawaiian fusion cuisine.   Very fun!  I love you, David!  Here is a pic of when we were dating!  Check out my hair!  Can you say humidity?! (Has anyone seen the episode of friends when they are in Jamaica?  David often compares my hair to Monica's.....pretty funny!)

David's sister is engaged!

So exciting!  David's younger sister Melissa got engaged last Friday to her boyfriend Randy!  They live in Jackson, Mississippi.  (I know, you probably think its kind of weird that the Jackson's live in Jackson and Jacksonville...... :0)  They are getting married in August!  Its going to be a fun summer!

Here are some pics Lisa and I took of Jax and Riley for Mother's day!  Riley was so funny because she just didn't know what to think about holding Jax!  It was a riot!

A weekend of 1st's!

This weekend Jax had a lot of 1st's!  We headed to the beach Saturday morning and walked which was so nice.  Then Sunday Jax went to the nursery at church for the first time....he was a champ and slept most of the time!  Then Sunday afternoon we took him on his first boat ride.....again, he slept most of the time!  Here are some pics!
