It was a rough day...

Jax had his 4 month checkup today.  Got 4 shots and he hasn't been feeling too good since.  Poor guy.  Found out we get to start trying some rice cereal!  We'll see if he likes it!  Here are the stats...

14lbs 4oz - 40th percentile

26 inches - 75th percentile

4 months old!

Well here are a couple pictures to show how much our sweet boy has changed.  I have to say that this stage is a lot more fun than the newborn stage.  My heart melts every time this kid smiles which is often fortunately!  Nothin better than a happy baby!  Here's Jax at 3 weeks and 4 months (look at those long legs!).  Tomorrow is his 4 month checkup so I'll post some stats then....

We were in Destin for the weekend for David's sister's wedding shower.  We had a great time with his entire family!  Here are some pics!

July 4th weekend...

We had a great weekend! Our good friends Stephanie and Todd came in town to visit from Atlanta. It was so good to see them. We hadn't seen them in about a year. We went to the beach, on the boat and spent July 4th with a bunch of friends at a cookout. Luckily the weather stayed really nice and we got a lot of sun! (Too much!) Check out the swim trunks! Thanks, Stephanie! (Forgot his hat, so he wore mine...)

Love this lip! He was not happy as you can see. I think David had tried to burp him when he was trying to eat and he was not happy about it!
