Just a normal day on the boat.....dancin, eatin and blowing kisses!

This was the first time we saw him blow a kiss and the lucky receiver of the kiss was Miss Jamie!  Luckily we caught it on camera!

15 months. people!!

Jax is 15 months!  We had his checkup on Friday and he is a big boy!  He is in the 90th% for his height and the 75th% for his weight.  The dr. said he looked perfect but its time that we get him off of his bottle......I think this is going to be harder for me than him.  (I can't believe he's not a baby anymore!)  He's already mastered the sippy cup during the day but its time to get rid of the bottle at night and in the morning.   Here he is at the Dr.'s office.  As you can see, I came with an arsenal of things to keep him occupied!

I never posted any pictures from Grand Cayman so here are some.  It was so beautiful!  We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and the everything there was amazing!!
Here is a picture of us in front of the hotel.

The local wildlife!  They were everywhere!  This was one of the big ones.
The view from our room.   Right past the grass was the beach.  We lucked out with our room reservations!

Hard week...

I haven't posted anything in a while partly because this month has been crazy busy and partly because my Mac that has all my pictures on it is busted and I've been lazy and haven't taken it to get it fixed.....I know, I need to but it never seems that important when its 90 degrees and I have to haul "the tank" in and out of the car. :0)

Pictures to come when I get my computer fixed (or it fixes itself).

David and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on May 15th. We spent it in Grand Cayman on a work trip that David won. It was a blast! We apparently had WAY too much fun because I came back with a sinus infection and David got some sort of funky disease while we were there that the Dr. is trying to diagnose. Really weird because he has fevers that start in the afternoon everyday. This has been going on for 3 weeks, people! The Dr. said that he has no clue what it is......so now we are waiting to hear what the blood tests say. Hoping the antibiotics will kill whatever it is. Jax and I have not gotten whatever David has so that is good.

So, feeling sad this week because I heard that a friend and old coworker passed away. He was a good man who loved Jesus and his family and you could really tell by the way he lived and worked. He was hilarious and made me laugh everytime I talked to him. I feel so sad for his family. Life is so short and fragile. There is comfort in knowing that he is happier and healthier than ever and he is at home with his Savior.
