Just because....

DAVID'S SISTER IS MARRIED!!

We went to Mississippi for the weekend and had a blast with David's family.  David and I were both in the wedding!  We even got to walk down the aisle together which was so fun!  It was a beautiful wedding and the bride and groom were glowing!  Congrats Melissa and Randy!  We love you!

I also sang which was fun.  The song I sang was "Captivate Us" by Watermark which is a beautiful song.  I'd love to get back to singing in weddings so if you know anyone getting married who needs a singer, I'd love to do it!

Dedicating our baby boy!

David and I dedicated Jax at our church on the 17th.  This was a really special day for us!  At our church, the dedication means that we will raise Jax to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.   My family came in town for the big event which was awesome!  Here are some pictures.....

Summer days....

Well, I'm finding that I'm about a week and a half behind on these posts!  I'm trying to do better!  

Jax went to his first kid bday party and we had a lot of fun!  Here he is with the birthday boy, Kelly.  Kelly and Jax are in the same class at church......

......and then after the party he was pooped!  So funny, he fell asleep with his hand holding on to the bug catcher he got at the party!

My roommate from college came to visit!  Her son Kai was born almost a week after Jax so it was fun to see the 2 of them together!  Kai is a cutie.  He would start rolling and just keep going right across the floor!  I was hoping Jax would follow!  Julie, it was so good to see you!

Lots of stuff!

Its been a busy 2 weeks for us!  Jax and I headed for Atlanta and spent some time with my family.  We got to see our good friend Audrey which was great and I even got to go by North Point and see my friends that I miss so much.  We hit the ground running when we got there and didn't stop until I got home Tuesday!  Here are some pictures!

Jax and I met my sister-in-law Wednesday at Mellow Mushroom for my 29th birthday (a popular hangout of ours...) She even surprised me with some cheesecake which is my favorite!  We also celebrated that evening with some friends at a mexican restaurant.  It was awesome!  I'm SO thankful for the friends we have made since moving here!  

Then last night David and I went with our friend Jamie to Bigstuf camp in Daytona.  There is a group from our church that went down there for the week and Jamie's husband is the leader for the group.  It was amazing!  3000 middle schoolers and high schoolers screaming and worshipping God with music by some of the most talented musicians I've seen.  The music (and kids) were REALLY loud but Jax was a champ and slept through most of it.  He was a tired little guy!

And lastly.....Jax and I drove to St. Simons today to meet my sister bc she was in town for a wedding.  It was so great to see her!  We had breakfast and looked at some of the shops.  We didn't stay long but it was a nice little day trip!
